Christine Masiello
|
With a cheery, upbeat attitude and friendly personality, Christine can help you achieve your goal of selling or buying a home. A member of the Greater Newburyport Association of Realtors (GNAR), the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR), she has access to a vast network of resources valuable to every sucessful real estate transaction.
In 1985, Christine graduated as Vice President of her class from the North Shore Regional Vocational High School district with a major in Distributive Education, which is the study of business management, marketing, merchandising, sales and advertising. With a passion for helping others, she was employed by the same school as a teaching assistant for over 10 years, working mainly in marketing. She was honored to receive Distinguished Alumni Award in 2001/2002 for outstanding citizenship and service to the school and the community. Christine also worked nights and weekends for "on call" physicians seeing emergency patients at a major health care facility, performing all office management duties, maintaining medical records and always paying close attention to detail. In 1996, she graduated with honors from North Shore Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. A member of the first graduating class of the Danvers Citizens Police Academy, she was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation (due to an event unrelated to the class) for actively participating in Community Policing efforts and displaying outstanding achievements in those regards. Christine, always willing to help people, went on to work as a Police/Fire/EMS Dispatcher and E 911 operator for a small North Shore town, gaining experience in dealing with the public, confidential involvement in private issues, as well as knowledge about local and state roadways, residential and commercial properties and much more.
As a lifetime North of Boston resident, Christine and her husband, Carmine, moved to Salisbury in 1999. They have two sons, Carmine, who attends Hesser College and is majoring in Radio/TV Broadcasting and Casey who is a student at Triton Regional High School. The family has a dog named Kaya who is 1/2 Pekingese and 1/2 Golden Retriever and a white dove named Lady. Wanting to be involved and learn more about her community, Christine can sometimes be found at the Selectmen, Board of Health, and Rent Control meetings. She served on Salisbury's Solid Waste Advisory Committee in 2003, makes donations to the Pettingil House Food Pantry and has participated in the annual beach clean up "Trash and Treasure Hunt" for Salisbury Beach. As a member of Salisbury's Kendall Lane Tenants Association, she can also help answer your questions about mobile homes. With a background in education, Christine has also enjoyed working for the Salisbury Elementary School as a substitute teacher.
When Christine finds some free time she enjoys getting together with her friends for lunch or coffee. She also loves nature and being outdoors, planting flowers and puttering around the yard. In fact, she loves nature so much, for many years she was the Senior Nature Counselor for the Danvers YMCA's Summer Day Camp program on Stiles Pond in Boxford. When the annual Topsfield Fair arrives in October, you will most likely find her working in the Information Booth for guest relations, what a busy bee! Speaking of bees, Christine obtained a Certificate of Completion after taking a course in Beekeeping from the Essex County Beekeepers Association. So, if you have a problem with bees near your home or on your land, she will be able to tell you if they are honey bees or not.
If you would like Christine to assist you in buying or selling a home, she would be more than happy to work with you. For a FREE, no obligation, Home Market Analysis of your property, you may contact her anytime. |
